About Shuho:
Shuho (real name Kataoka Susumu) is the fourth generation of the Kataoka Tōen kiln, established in 1923. Known for his steady craftsmanship and focus on glazed wares, he produces everything from small pots to very large containers. His works feature clean, simple forms with subtle individuality, often brought out through creative use of glazes. Shuho is especially recognized for his Oribe green glaze, as well as kiln effects that resemble classic Canton green tones.
